Plasticresale.com is a trading platform where all companies holding excess plastics and additives – regardless of, type, shape, quantity and color – can upload it on the site for sale to others who may apply to the product. This means that all plastic companies that have to source raw materials can now jump into the Plastic Resale site and check if there should be a residual plastic that they would be able to buy at recycling prices – before buying new ones.
Once you have created your profile, you can start uploading your products and shopping directly with other users who want to buy or sell excess plastic. It’ll only take two minutes. You’re at it. And it is even completely free to use the site.
On the site you can search for specific materials, types, shape and color and thus exactly search the entire marketplace for the plastic you need. If the product is available, you will contact the seller directly by phone or email. In addition, you can upload data sheets and images as documentation for each product.

The group of Basic Plastics typically counts Polyethylene (PE), Polypropylene (PP) and Polystyrene (PS).
These 3 polymers account for about 50% of the world’s plastic consumption, and are used in everything from foils, packaging, furniture, toys, water bottles, beer boxes, medical devices, hoses, pipes, insulation etc.
In addition, the base polymers (especially PP) can be added to a wide range of additives to add special properties. It can be chalk, talc, glass, pigments etc.
The technical plastic types – also called structural plastics or Engineering plastics – are a group of plastic materials used for demanding tasks.
Here, higher demands are placed on properties such as impact strength, stiffness, chemical resistance, heat resistance, durability and fire retardant properties, etc.
Structural plastic thus possesses a better combination of physical, thermal and chemical properties than the so-called Basic Polymers typically exhibit.
UBQ is a biobased thermoplastic that is made from household waste. UBQ has a positive CO2 impact of minus 11,7 kg/kg, this can be comparted to PP that has a negative CO2 impact of 2,8 kg/kg.
In the world patented process, the organic waste is converted to its basic components like lignin, cellulose, sugar and fiber in powder form, the powder is then compressed to a granulated biobased thermoplastic.
